Former DNR terrorist leader Borodai on occupiers’ Nazi tattoos: "It is merely symbolism". VIDEO
Terrorist, State Duma deputy of the aggressor state, and former head of the first occupation administration in Donetsk, Aleksandr Borodai, has openly admitted to the widespread use of neo-Nazi symbols among Russian militants.
As reported by Censor.NET, Borodai said this in an interview with Russian propagandists while commenting on accusations of Nazism against Russian occupiers.
Borodai, who in 2014 arrived in Donbas with terrorist Girkin to create the "DPR", tried to justify his subordinates, claiming that Nazi symbols supposedly "mean nothing" to them.
"All these runes, swastikas and everything else mean absolutely nothing from an ideological point of view. It is merely symbolism. You see, if many of our volunteers from 2014 were stripped... I saw plenty of my fighters covered in such stuff - Lord forgive me. You know, one of my staff workers was found at one point by our own fighters, when they all apparently went to the bathhouse together, to have a portrait of Hitler," the terrorist said.
