Russian military personnel have once again demonstrated cruelty towards their own soldiers by killing them after they were taken prisoner. According to Censor.NET, citing the unit’s press service, during combat operations, soldiers from the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment used a drone to remotely capture and escort two occupiers.
As the detainees had serious injuries, the Ukrainian soldiers provided them with first aid and decided to evacuate them to a medical aid post. To avoid putting the lives of the Ukrainian assault troops at risk, an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) from the 104th Separate Territorial Defence Brigade was used for the evacuation.
However, Russian aerial reconnaissance detected the movement of the platform. After making sure that the robot was evacuating their own wounded fellow soldiers, the occupiers finished off their own servicemen with attack drones, demonstrating the true essence of the slogan "we don’t abandon our own".
