Fighters from "Skelia" regiment captured occupier using drone in Pokrovsk direction. VIDEO

In the Pokrovsk sector of Donetsk Oblast, drone operators from the 425th Separate Assault Regiment ‘Skelia’ of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Land Forces carried out a successful operation to capture a serviceman from the Russian occupation forces. A quadcopter equipped with an audio alert system was used to coordinate the operation and bring the combatant to Ukrainian positions.

According to Censor.NET, the operation lasted several hours under continuous aerial reconnaissance.

The UAV crews fully monitored the Russian serviceman’s route and issued commands regarding safety measures, in particular ordering him to discard any suspicious items. After confirming that he was unarmed, the Russian soldier was escorted to a pre-arranged ambush point, where he was met by a ground team from the "Skelia" regiment.
