37 беспилотников-камикадзе купит для Украины Литва
Литва закупит для украинских бойцов 37 польских беспилотников-камикадзе Warmate. Для этого литовцы собрали более 1 млн евро.
Как информирует Цензор.НЕТ, об этом сообщает РБК-Украина со ссылкой на министра обороны Литвы Арвидаса Анушаускаса в Twitter.
Средства собрали в рамках инициативы "Легион Бум". Оборонное ведомство Литвы уже провело переговоры с производителем, польской компанией WB Group
Кроме 37 дронов, из которых 10 компания сделает бесплатно, Литва купит два комплекта со всеми необходимыми аксессуарами.
Боевые дроны Warmate легко транспортабельны, они весят около 5,7 кг и могут лететь на расстояние до 30 км со скоростью 150 км/час. Их можно подготовить к выполнению заданий менее чем за 5 минут. При этом беспилотники могут нести взрывчатку, уничтожать танки или даже командные пункты.
Стоит отметить, что средства на "Легион Бум" собирал литовский общественный активист и журналист Андрюс Тапинас. В рамках инициативы удалось собрать около 2 млн евро. Остальные средства будут направлены на приобретение украинских беспилотников-камикадзе UJ-23 Topaz производства UkrJet.
