Ukraine needs to start preparations to receive F-16 - Volker
To get modern fighter jets, Ukraine needs to start developing the relevant logistics component and training pilots.
This was announced during a briefing in Odesa by former US State Department Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker, reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to Ukrinform.
"There will always be references to the need to train pilots and build logistics. We should have done this last year, so we can't delay any longer and we need to do it now," Volker said.
He also added that the MiG-29 fighters provided by Poland and Slovakia are not enough for Ukraine to win.
