Beijing highly appreciates African peacekeeping efforts, - Chinese Foreign Ministry
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that Beijing highly appreciates the efforts of African countries aimed at a peaceful settlement of the "Ukrainian crisis". This is how the People’s Republic of China spoke about the ongoing full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

Commenting on the visit of a delegation of African leaders to Ukraine and Russia last week, a Chinese official said at a briefing that their efforts "well reflect the general call of the international community to end hostilities and de-escalate tensions."
"Facts have shown that war and sanctions will not solve any problem; dialogue and negotiations are the only real way out," the representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry assures.
Ning also added that China is ready to work with all parties, including African countries, to create favorable conditions for a political settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.
Also remind, on June 16, the presidents of South Africa, Zambia, Senegal, the prime minister of Egypt, and other officials of African countries visited Kyiv and met with the head of the Ukrainian state Volodymyr Zelensky. The visit of the African delegation took place against the backdrop of a massive Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian capital.
At the meeting, the South African leader presented a "peace plan" for Ukraine consisting of 10 points. Zelensky invited the leaders of African countries to join the Ukrainian peace formula.
After Ukraine, the leaders of African countries went to the Russian Federation, where they met with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
