Armed Forces advanced more than kilometer in direction of Berdiansk, - Defense Forces
The armed forces of Ukraine advanced more than a kilometer in the direction of Berdiansk.
This was announced by the spokesman of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the Tauria region Valery Shershen in a video message, Censor.NET reports.
"As for the offensive operation of the Defense Forces of the Tauria direction, the position in Melitopol is unchanged, but in the Berdiansk direction we have advanced more than 1 kilometer deep into the enemy's defenses along a certain front line," he said.
Shershen added that difficult confrontations and maneuvers are ongoing, shock units are entrenched at the reached boundaries, conduct aerial reconnaissance of the area, clear mines, inflict fire damage on the enemy, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.
At the same time, the Ministry of Defense reports that the situation in the East has somewhat worsened. The enemy has been actively advancing in the Kupiansk direction in the Kharkiv region for two days in a row.
