борисполь

The head of the President’s Office, Andrii Yermak, expressed confidence that Boryspil Airport will soon send and receive aircraft again, as "now we are able to ensure the security of this facility."

As Censor.NET informs, this was reported by the Office of the President.

The report says: "The event was dedicated to the implementation of the tenth point of the Formula on confirmation of the end of the war. The discussion, which took place at Boryspil International Airport, was attended by 86 participants: representatives of 83 foreign countries and three international organizations.

Addressing the audience, the Head of the President's Office reminded that at 3 a.m. on February 24, 2022, the last passenger plane took off from Boryspil Airport. He expressed confidence that Boryspil would soon send and receive aircraft again.

"This return to the elements of peace is possible because Ukraine has become stronger. Now we are able to ensure the security of this facility. Thanks to our Defence Forces and our friends – your countries. And I am sure that the symbolic boarding passes that you received at the entrance will soon become real," he said.

Andrii Yermak told the participants of the meeting that during the year of joint work of all those involved, the Peace Formula proposed by the President of Ukraine has become an integral structure, the elements of which are tightly interconnected.

"I am pleased to note the progress on each of the nine points that we have already worked on," he said.

The Head of the Office of the President noted that a just, comprehensive and lasting peace is possible only as a result of collective will and collective action.

"There is only one way to prevent a recurrence of the war - through reliable multilateral security guarantees for Ukraine and a decisive demonstration of the unity and commitment of responsible states that respect international law," Andrii Yermak stressed.

Andrii Sybiha, Deputy Head of the Office of the President, noted that Boryspil Airport was the first facility to be closed due to the start of the war, but at the same time, it will be the first facility to be opened as soon as the security situation allows.

"The nine points of the Formula reflect the most important elements of a future built on a just, lasting, sustainable peace. This is the kind of peace that not only Ukraine needs now, but the whole world. No appeasement. The end of the war is the only possible solution. This is the final point of the Peace Formula," he stressed.

Andrii Sybiha said that the working group No. 10 at the ambassadorial level, which he chairs together with Defense Minister Rustem Umierov, includes representatives of 20 states and international organizations.

According to him, experts are developing modalities on how to end this war, and the first result of the work can be presented at the next meeting of national security advisers."
