17 out of 23 Shaheds and 8 reconnaissance UAVs were destroyed - Air Force

On the night of 24 July 2024, the Russian occupiers struck the Kharkiv region with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and a missile of a type to be determined. The enemy attacked from the Belgorod region. The enemy also attacked the south of the country with Shahed-type attack UAVs from Prymorsko-Akhtarsk and occupied Crimea.

How many Shaheds did the enemy launch?
According to the Air Force, a total of 23 enemy strike UAVs were detected and escorted by radio engineering troops. The air attack was repelled by units of mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, anti-aircraft missile units, and airborne electronic warfare.
What did you manage to destroy?
As a result of the air battle, 17 enemy UAVs were shot down. As noted, most of the drones were destroyed in the Odesa region.
"Over the past day and this day, the Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed at least 8 enemy reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles in different directions: 4 - Zala, 2 - Supercam, 2 - Orlan-10," the Air Force added.
Earlier, Censor.NET also wrote that Shaheds were spotted in the Kyiv region, and air defense forces were operating. It was also reported that the occupiers attacked the Odesa region with drones: 3 people were injured and port infrastructure was destroyed.
