In first three days, 1010 children were evacuated from dangerous areas of Donetsk region

Since the announcement of the mandatory evacuation, 1,010 children from 756 families have been evacuated from Donetsk region.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the National Police.

"Since 5 August, the forced evacuation of the population from 28 of the most dangerous settlements in Donetsk region has been going on. As of today, 3,723 more children remain to be evacuated," the statement said.

The police added that the evacuation was carried out both independently by families and with the help of working groups. All of them are now safe and receiving the necessary assistance. There are 20 evacuation teams working in the region every day, including "White Angel" crews, police paramedics, employees of the State Emergency Service, patrol police and representatives of military administrations.

As a reminder, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, said on 7 August that more than 50,000 people, including more than 4,000 children, remained in the 10-kilometre zone from the frontline in Donetsk region.
