Zelenskyy: In Brussels, I will present "Victory Plan" - our tool to force Russia to peace. VIDEO

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that he is heading to Brussels for a visit. He will take part in a special meeting of the European Council to present Ukraine's "Victory Plan" to EU leaders.

The head of state said this in a video message, Censor.NET reports.

"Now I am on my way to Brussels. There will be a special meeting of the European Council. At the level of leaders. I will present the Victory Plan - our tool to force Russia to peace. All European leaders will hear how we need to strengthen our position. We need to end this war fairly," he said, thanking European Council President Charles Michel for inviting Ukraine to participate.

Zelenskyy will also have meetings in the European Parliament - with President Robert Mecola and with the heads of political groups in the European Parliament.

"We will meet with Mark Rutte, NATO Secretary General. We are also preparing for a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council at the level of defence ministers.

The main thing is more protection for Ukraine now, before winter," Zelenskyy added.

As a reminder, on 16 October, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the Victory Plan at a meeting in the Verkhovna Rada. The main points of the Victory Plan include inviting Ukraine to join NATO and strengthening defence.

According to Zelenskyy, the Victory Plan consists of five points and three secret annexes. The secret annexes are to the defence, economic and deterrence points. The secret annexes are available to partners who have the appropriate assistance potential.
