Scholz on Zelenskyy’s plan: There are strategic decisions that I have made, and they will not change

Канцлер Німеччини Олаф Шольц прокоментував План перемоги

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz commented on the "Victory Plan" presented the day before by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He said this before the start of the EU summit in Brussels, Censor.NET informs with reference to "European Pravda".

Scholz called it important that EU leaders will have the opportunity to talk with Zelenskyy, who plans to present his "Victory Plan" at the summit.

"I myself did this very actively and repeatedly during the last weeks and months, I met with him (Volodymyr Zelenskyy - ed.) very often. You know Germany's position on these issues. Nothing will change in this regard," Scholz explained.

He noted that the most important thing now is that "we organize solidarity and talk about what is possible" in support of Ukraine.

And the main focus is on ensuring that we have the means to allow Ukraine to defend itself. In addition, there are strategic issues to discuss, you know what decisions I have made, and that will not change," Scholz emphasized.

Also remind you that on October 16, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the "Victory Plan" at a meeting in the Verkhovna Rada. The main points of the "Victory Plan" are the invitation of Ukraine to NATO and the strengthening of defense.

One of the points of the "Victory Plan" is also the lifting of restrictions on the use of Western long-range weapons for military purposes on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Ukraine has been trying to convince Germany to hand over Taurus cruise missiles for several months, but Scholz once stated that he was categorically against it.
