Today, on November 12, the government supported an important step by approving a project that simplifies the submission of reports for military personnel to change their place of service through the Army+ application.

This was announced on Facebook by Defense Minister Rustem Umierov, Censor.NET reports.

According to him, instead of lengthy approvals, only a copy of a military ID (or officer's certificate) and a letter of recommendation from the new brigade are now required. For privates and sergeants, permission from the current commander is no longer required.

"The AFU Personnel Center processes documents according to a clearly defined procedure within 72 hours. If there are no grounds for refusal, the serviceman receives a notification of the result of the review in the Army+ application. And in case of a negative decision, a notification of the reasons for the refusal," the statement said.

According to Umierov, the law also provides for the protection of the rights of the military: unjustified refusals will be reviewed by the Ministry of Defense.

"Transfer is possible no more than once a year and after 6 months of service in the current unit," the minister explained.

He also reminded that the initiative was developed by the Ministry of Defense jointly with the Armed Forces and civil society organizations.

"This decision is an opportunity for every soldier to use their experience and skills more effectively where they are most needed," Umierov summarizes.

Earlier, Zelenskyy said that the government was introducing a transparent mechanism for transferring soldiers between military units through Army+. Censor.NET also reported that military personnel would be simplified in their transfers between units: work is underway to create a digital service.
