Ukraine is fighting for liberation of all its territories occupied by Russia, - Umierov

Ukraine is fighting for the liberation of all its territories seized by Russia over the past decade. Any claims that Kyiv is ready to shift its priorities from liberation to security are false.
This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umierov during a press conference with his Norwegian counterpart in Oslo, Reuters reports, Censor.NET informs.
"Territorial integrity is part of our values," the head of the defense ministry said.
According to him, recent press reports that Ukraine is shifting its focus in the war from the liberation of territories to long-term security are untrue and part of Russian propaganda efforts.
"Our priority remains the protection of people, the protection of the nation, the liberation of people from almost 10 years of temporary occupation, so Crimea and Donbas are part of Ukraine," Umierov said, adding that people living in the Russian-occupied territories are waiting for liberation.
The day before, the New York Times reported, citing an unnamed Ukrainian official, that Ukraine prioritizes security guarantees over the return of the Russian-occupied territories.
