Embassies of Spain, Italy and Greece in Kyiv will not provide services today due to increased risk of air attacks (updated)

Today, 20 November 2024, the Spanish Embassy in Kyiv announced that it will not provide services during the day due to the "increased risk of air attacks across Ukraine".

"In an email sent to Spaniards living in the country, the embassy recommends that they ‘take extraordinary security measures, follow all recommendations of local authorities and always have a shelter," the statement said.
Subsequently, the Italian Embassy in Kyiv also announced that today, 20 November, it will not provide services and will be closed to the public.
The embassy called on Italian citizens in Ukraine to take the strictest measures to reduce risk and immediately go to the nearest shelter in case of an air raid alert.
"The Greek Embassy will remain closed to the public today for security reasons. Please avoid travelling and stay in safe places," the Greek Embassy in Kyiv said in a statement.
As reported, the US Embassy in Kyiv has received information that Russia may massively attack Ukraine today. The CCD noted that Russia has prepared stockpiles of missiles, aircraft and ships for massive strikes.
