Zelenskyy warned Scholz that call to Putin was "Pandora’s box." Chancellor got nothing

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy advised German Chancellor Olaf Scholz not to call Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Zelenskyy said this in an interview with Fox News, Ukrinform reports.
"I knew that he (Scholz - Ed.) would call (Putin - Ed.). We had a meeting, and he told me that he was planning (to call - Ed.). I replied that, in my opinion, this is Pandora's Box," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, Putin's political isolation also puts pressure on the Russian dictator.
"We fight not only with weapons but also with diplomacy. Diplomacy is very important. And only diplomacy can put an end to this war," the Ukrainian president said.
In his opinion, the conversation would be useful if its results were clear.
What did the Chancellor get out of this call? Nothing. Nothing new," Zelenskyy said.
He also noted that U.S. and European intelligence agencies interact with the Russian side even during the war in Ukraine, but this does not contradict their policy of political isolation.
"You should not recognize Putin as president because he is a murderer. Otherwise, you will destroy this political isolation," Zelenskyy said.
Earlier, Polish President Andrzej Duda condemned German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
As a reminder, on November 15, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz spoke on the phone with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin for the first time in two years. After this conversation, Scholz intends to talk to Zelenskyy.
