Spain does not supply Ukraine with weapons that can reach Russian territory - Defense Minister Robles

Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles said that her country does not supply Ukraine with weapons that can reach the territory of Russia, but Spain continues to fulfill its obligations to Kyiv.
This was stated by Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles, Censor.NET reports citing La Razon.
She noted that Spain does not supply missiles or other types of weapons that could be used to attack the territory of the Russian Federation. This distinguishes its approach from the UK and the US, which have authorized the use of their missiles for such attacks.
"The equipment we have sent is not for such a situation," she said.
At the same time, Robles emphasized that Spain's commitment to Ukraine is "unwavering."
According to La Razon, the minister wanted to make it clear that Spain continues to help Ukraine, but within the limits it considers acceptable.
Earlier, Robles said that since the fall of 2022, more than 5,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been trained in Spain as part of the EU mission. The head of the Spanish Defense Ministry expressed hope that by the end of this year, this figure would exceed 6,000 trained Ukrainian military.
