Trump knows that Ukraine will not agree to Russian ultimatums - Zelenskyy
The newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, and his team know that Ukraine will not accept Russia's ultimatums.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with Kyodo News, Censor.NET reports.
First and foremost, everyone in Ukraine wants the war to end as soon as possible, but in a fair way, without Russia's ultimatums. No one will accept their ultimatums. The president himself (Donald Trump - ed.) and his team are aware of this," the president said.
Zelenskyy also noted that he had three contacts with Trump in 2024, and during the last meeting, he handed him the "Victory Plan".
The Head of State noted that the newly elected US President knew that Ukraine would not surrender.
"Everyone wants a quick peace and is counting on President Trump, but there will be no capitulation on the part of Ukraine," - Zelenskyy added.
Earlier, Zelenskyy said that the war in Ukraine could end next year if the "Victory Plan" is implemented.
Speaking at the Verkhovna Rada on 16 October, he noted that everything depends on the support of international partners.
