Yermak met with Trump representatives in US. Peace plan was not discussed - CNN

On December 5, the head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak, met with Vice President J.D. Vance and Trump's National Security Advisor Mike Waltz in Washington, DC.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by CNN with reference to three anonymous interlocutors.
According to the journalists, the meeting, which was also attended by Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine for European Integration Serhiy Boyev, was not intended to discuss a potential peace plan or resolve the war.
The Ukrainian representatives tried to tell Waltz and DiVance their assessment of the situation on the battlefield and to establish relations. According to one of the publication's interlocutors, Ukrainian officials believe that they managed to achieve these goals and were satisfied with the meeting.
During the meeting, which lasted more than an hour, Yermak and Boyev outlined a general scheme of defense strategy, but without details.
CNN writes that Special Representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg was not present, as he has visited Ukraine in the past and is familiar with Yermak. Therefore, a meeting to "establish initial interpersonal contacts" was not necessary.
