Trump team prepares visits to "listen" to positions of parties of war in Ukraine - Kellogg

Donald Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg

Recently appointed Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, said that the team of the newly elected US president is preparing visits to listen to Moscow and Kyiv's views on ending the war.

He said this on the air of  Fox News, Censor.NET reports.

When asked about possible visits to Europe, Russia or Ukraine, Kellogg said that Trump's team was "preparing plans to go and just listen" to the parties' views, as they currently do not have the authority to negotiate on behalf of the United States.

But it doesn't prevent us from listening to people more actively, given the calendar, trying to do this in the short term and making sure we have the right elements to present to President Trump," the special envoy to the US president-elect said.

Kellogg emphasised that it is the US president-elect who will make the final decisions in this regard.

"Our job is to help him succeed for the American people. And we are going to do that. We're going to bring this war in Europe to a completion, a successful completion for the American people as well," the official added.

As a reminder, earlier, Kellogg stated his readiness to ensure peace through force.
