EU plans to open all negotiation clusters with Ukraine regarding accession in 2025 - von der Leyen

As part of the accession negotiations with Ukraine, the European Union plans to open a fundamental cluster in early 2025 and other clusters within the same year.
According to Censor.NET, with reference to Ukrinform, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said this in Strasbourg during a speech at the European Parliament plenary session in preparation for the European Council.
"We must continue our political support for Ukraine. They have made tremendous progress on the road to European Union membership. If they continue to stick to these efforts, we should be ready to open negotiations on the fundamental cluster in early 2025 and (open) the other clusters within the same year," von der Leyen said.
She also noted that "Ukrainians are now fighting for a future in the European Union, and they need to know that their efforts are rewarded and that the flag of Ukraine will fly in the heart of the EU."
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that in 2025 Ukraine plans to open all six thematic clusters in the EU accession negotiations.
