Havryliuk on reforming TCR: one of first changes is to subordinate them to Ministry of Defense
The Ministry of Defense is developing an option for a complete reform of the territorial centers of recruitment and social support (TCR and SS). One of the key changes is their subordination to the Ministry of Defense.
First Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Havryliuk said this during an hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Censor.NET reports.
The official said that a complete reform of the Defense Ministry is currently being developed. First of all, the person to whom the TCR is subordinated should be changed.
"Today, the Ministry of Defense is developing a variant of complete reform of the TCR in a new way. First of all, they will be subordinated to the Ministry of Defense and completely new structures will be created to carry out activities related to the mobilization of persons liable for military service," the Deputy Minister said.
It should be noted that currently, the TCRs are subordinated to the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which in turn are subordinated to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Back in September, Defense Minister Rustem Umierov said that the next step would be to reform the territorial centers for recruitment and social support (TCR and SS). The Ministry is already working on this.
