Air defence system shoots down 21 drones out of 43, another 22 are lost in area - Air Force
On the night of 30 December 2024 (from 19.00 on 29 December), the enemy attacked with 43 Shahed-type strike UAVs and other types of drones. The launches were recorded from Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"As a result of combat operations, units of anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups shot down 21 Shahed strike UAVs and other types of imitator drones in Kharkiv, Poltava, Chernihiv, Odesa, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions," the statement said.
The military also noted that 22 enemy imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences).
In Kharkiv and Odesa regions, private houses were damaged as a result of the downed UAVs.
As previously reported by Censor.NET, at night, "Shaheds" attacked Kharkiv region, and 3 people were injured in the region during the day. In Odesa region, a Russian attack damaged houses in Rozdilnianskyi district.
