Russia launched 111 UAVs over Ukraine on New Year’s Eve: 63 shot down, 46 lost in location. INFOGRAPHICS

On the night of 1 January 2025, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with attack UAVs and other types of drones.
This was reported by the Air Force, Censor.NET reports.
In total, the invaders launched 111 UAVs from the directions of Bryansk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and the occupied Crimea.
"As of 09.30 a.m., 63 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones were confirmed downed in the Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad and Mykolaiv regions.
Due to the active counteraction of the Defence Forces, 46 enemy imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences), and two more flew to Russia and Belarus," the statement said.
In the morning of 1 January, air defences were operating in the capital. Russians attacked Kyiv with drones. Six people were injured.
