Tyshchenko’s case: People’s Deputy joins hearing online, his defense demands recusal of judge

Mykola Tyshchenko joined the court hearing online

A preparatory hearing in the case of People's Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko and the victim, former Kraken special forces soldier Dmytro Mazokha, is underway in the Babushkinskyi District Court of Dnipro.

This is reported by Suspilne, Censor.NET informs.

The court is to review the preventive measure for the People's Deputy and collect evidence to reach the merits of the case.

Tyshchenko joined the hearing via video, and his lawyer asked for the judge's recusal. He noted that the judge had violated the rules and that he had warned him the previous time that the People's Deputy would not come to court.

The victim's lawyer, Vitalii Kolomiets, said that the judge's recusal was aimed at delaying the trial. It may be followed by the recusal of the prosecutor.

According to Mazokha, Tyshchenko's personal absence from court proves his guilt, and the situation with his alleged illness is a "show."

The previous time, the defendant Bohdan Pysarenko also asked for the judge's recusal.
