Pletenchuk: Russians refuse to repair their warships in occupied Crimea

Russia does not repair ships in occupied Crimea

Due to the threat of Ukrainian strikes, the Russian invaders refused to repair their warships in the occupied Crimea.

This was stated by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy Dmytro Pletenchuk, Censor.NET reports citing Radio Liberty.

"We have already proved in practice that it will no longer be possible to use repair bases for the Russian Black Sea Fleet. To restore ships, you first need to bring them there, and now no one will do it," he said.

Pletenchuk recalled the destruction of the Cyclone small missile ship in Sevastopol Bay, two strikes on the Rostov-on-Don submarine, and a strike on the Askold small missile ship in Kerch.

"These examples suggest to the Russians that it is impossible to use Crimea for ship repairs in principle," added the Ukrainian Navy spokesman.
