Ministry of Defense on results of "Ramstein-25": 30,000 drones, 6 IRIS-T air defense systems and weapons production

$500 million from the United States and 30,000 drones from the United Kingdom - agreements at the 25th meeting in the Ramstein format.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense with reference to the words of Minister Rustem Umerov, Censor.NET reports.
"We held one of the most important meetings in the Ramstein format, which was another step in strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
I am grateful to the United States and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin for their leadership and efforts, thanks to which more than 50 countries have united to help Ukraine in its most difficult moment," the statement said.
As noted, for almost three years of full-scale war, Ramstein members have declared more than $145 billion in security assistance to Ukraine. This is the result of the true unity of the free world.
Key achievements of the 25th meeting:
Approval of the roadmaps for the development of the Ukrainian Defense Forces until 2027, developed within the framework of 8 Capability Coalitions:
- Aviation
- Air Defense
- Maritime Capabilities
- Artillery
- Armor
- IT
- Drones
- Demining
"We have moved to a new level of cooperation: in addition to addressing the immediate needs of the war, we will also work on building the long-term capabilities of our army," Umerov said.
Results from partners
- The United States: a new $500 million aid package that will include air defense missiles, air-to-air missiles, and equipment for F-16 aircraft.
- Canada: assistance worth 440 million Canadian dollars, including 100 million for the purchase of Ukrainian weapons based on the Danish model.

Military Strategy for 2025
During the meeting, we presented our strategy, which is based on four key priorities:
- stabilizing the front line
- strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities
- strengthening the protection of the sky and sea lanes
- asymmetric response to aggressor attempts to gain an advantage through scale.
Bilateral negotiations
During the meeting, I held productive meetings with colleagues from the United States, Norway, Italy, and the Netherlands. We discussed specific plans for support for 2025 and ensuring the implementation of already announced aid packages.
In particular, during a conversation with his Dutch counterpart Ruben Brekelmans, we discussed investments in joint defense projects, including the production of long-range drones. They also touched upon the use of proceeds from frozen Russian assets for the development of companies that manufacture spare parts for drones.
"Together with our partners, we are building a strong defense of Ukraine, which brings our victory and a just peace closer," Umerov summarized.
