Specialties from which it is forbidden to transfer Air Force servicemen to other branches of AFU are determined - Air Force
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine urges the media and public figures to exercise caution when commenting on the sensitive topic of military service and the transfer of personnel to other branches of the Armed Forces.
This was reported by the command of the Air Force, Censor.NET reports.
"The Air Force operates hotlines for feedback, in particular, to prevent cases of unauthorized transfers of Air Force personnel to other branches and services of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the statement said.
The Air Force Command noted that if such cases occur, they should be reported and an appropriate response will be provided.
"Currently, high-tech military specialties have been identified, which prohibit the transfer of Air Force personnel to other branches of the Armed Forces," it added.
What preceded it?
Earlier, Oleksii Honcharenko, People`s Deputy from the European Solidarity party, said that he had information that military technicians who service IRIS-T systems were being transferred to the infantry.
According to him, military technicians receive orders to be transferred or removed from the unit.
Earlier it was reported that specialists of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being massively transferred to the infantry. Mobile fire groups are also being reduced.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that there were and are no plans to transfer the critically scarce specialists of the Air Force's engineering and aviation service who maintain aircraft to infantry units.
Air Force Commander Kryvonozhko confirmed that there are no plans to transfer them.
Zelenskyy instructed Commander Kryvonozhko not to reduce the number of specialists needed by the Air Force to perform combat missions.
