Ukraine lost more military in war than US in Vietnam and Korea in general - Kellogg
US President Donald Trump's Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, said that Ukraine's losses over the three years of full-scale war are greater than America's losses during the wars in Vietnam and Korea in general.
He said this on Fox News, Censor.NET reports.
Hundreds of thousands of victims on both sides. You know, Ukraine alone has lost more soldiers in three years than we lost in the entire Vietnam War and the Korean War combined," Kellogg said.
He compared Ukraine's Mariupol, a city of 500,000 people that was completely destroyed, to the American city of Denver.
"This will not be done by killing each other. It won't work," the general added, answering the question of how Trump could end the war.
It should be noted that according to the independent organization Global Security, a total of 47,000 US military personnel were killed in the 8 years of fighting in Vietnam.
During the Korean War, the United States lost about 33,000 of its military personnel in combat.
Earlier, Kellogg said that Russia's losses during the full-scale invasion were 5 times higher than Ukraine's.
