Emergency search operations continue in Poltava. Rescuers continue to clear the rubble and search for people.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"Poltava: the death toll has increased to 12 people, including 2 children.
17 people were injured, including 4 children. 22 people were rescued," the statement said.
The work is ongoing.
As a reminder, on the morning of 1 February 2025, the Russian army hit a residential building in Poltava with a missile. The entrance from the 1st to the 5th floor was destroyed and a fire broke out.
Eighteen nearby apartment buildings and a kindergarten were damaged.
Update as of 10.30 a.m.
According to the RMA, the death toll has risen to 14 people, including 2 children. One person died in hospital.
