Ukrainian Armed Forces start switching to corps command system, - Syrskyi
The implementation of measures for the transition to a corps structure in the Armed Forces of Ukraine has begun.
This was announced on Facebook by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, Censor.NET reports.
"In January, we were able to slightly increase the number of units that are being withdrawn to restore combat capability. We have plans for the next period.
We take into account the challenges of the time and work to strengthen the army even in the current difficult conditions. The reform of the organisational structure of the Armed Forces is ongoing. We have started implementing measures to transition to a corps structure," he said.
As a reminder, on 28 January, President Zelenskyy said that the formation of corps in the Armed Forces had been discussed at a meeting of the Chief of Staff.
