Murder of TCR serviceman in Poltava region: second suspect arrested

Pyriatyn District Court imposed a pre-trial restraint on two men involved in the murder of a serviceman of the Poltava Regional TCR and SS. The court took both men into custody without the right to be released on bail.
This was reported by the communication department of the Poltava regional police, Censor.NET reports.
"A man born in 1984 is charged with premeditated murder (Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code), theft of firearms, combined with violence dangerous to life and health (Part 3 of Article 262 of the Criminal Code), and illegal obstruction of the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a special period (Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code). Another suspect, born in 1988, was served a notice of suspicion of unlawful obstruction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a special period (Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code)," the statement said.
It is noted that the sanctions of the incriminated articles provide for imprisonment for a term of seven to fifteen years.
Earlier it was reported that two residents of Lubny and Poltava were notified of suspicion of killing a soldier at a gas station.
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that on February 1, 2025, a serviceman of the Regional TCR, who was accompanying the mobilized, was shot dead at a gas station in Pyriatyn. The attacker was later detained.
