EU believes that Ukraine is able to open all clusters of accession negotiations by end of 2025

Director General of the European Commission for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations (NEAR) Gert Jan Kopman believes that Ukraine has every chance to open clusters of negotiations on joining the European Union by the end of 2025.
He said this during the conference "Ukraine's Accession to the EU: Shaping a Transformational Agenda," Censor.NET reports citing the European Parliament.
According to him, the EU is striving to achieve this, but everything will depend on Ukraine.
"There is a lot of trust, we see each other as partners, and I hope that on this basis we will be able to open all clusters of negotiations (on Ukraine's accession to the EU) in a year. We are very eager for this, but in the end it will depend on you," Kompan said.
He warned Ukraine about Hungary's conditions on national minority rights, recalling "an element that one of the member states pays special attention to."
"I would urge everyone, especially the members of the Verkhovna Rada, to move forward with the implementation of the action plan on national minorities, because it will have an impact on the pace of your accession negotiations," Kompan added.
Earlier it was reported that the screening of Ukrainian legislation for compliance with EU legislation will last until the fall of 2025.
