Palestinians will not return to Gaza, they will have much "better housing" elsewhere - Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump said that Palestinians will not have the right to return to Gaza. Gaza is now "uninhabitable".

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Sky News.

Trump said that the Palestinian people would be given "better housing" elsewhere.

"No, they won't, because they will have much better housing. I mean, I'm talking about building a permanent place for them," he said.

Trump suggested that there could be up to six different places for Palestinians to live outside of Gaza.

According to him, these would be "great communities" for the approximately 2.3 million Palestinians currently living in the Strip.

"Maybe five, six, maybe two. But we will build safe communities, a little bit away from where they live, where all the danger is. In the meantime, I would like to own this. Think of it as real estate development for the future. It would be a beautiful piece of land. No big expenses," the American president said.

Trump added that Gaza is currently "uninhabitable" and it may take "years" before Palestinians can return there.

The situation in the Middle East

On August 17-18, pagers in the pockets or hands of militants of the Iranian-backed Lebanese group Hezbollah exploded en masse in Lebanon. However, Israel denies any involvement in the massive pager explosions of Hezbollah members, noting that the Lebanese group has many enemies.

At the same time, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) will focus its military efforts in the north, where it borders Lebanon, as a "new phase" of the war begins.

On September 27, IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said that the Israeli Air Force had struck Hezbollah's main headquarters in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

Subsequently, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) officially announced the elimination of the leader and one of the founders of the Hezbollah group, Hassan Nasrallah.

October 1, Israel informs the United States that it is conducting limited ground operations focused on Hezbollah's infrastructure in Lebanon.

In the evening of October 1, Iran fired missiles into Israel.

United States destroyers shot down some of the missiles that Iran used to attack Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Iran would pay for the massive missile attack.

U.S. President Joe Biden said that Israel's response should not concern Tehran's nuclear facilities.

Earlier it was reported that Israel officially supported the truce with the Palestinian group Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

To recap, the US media reported that on Wednesday, January 15, Israel and Hamas reached an agreement on a ceasefire and the release of all hostages.

Trump wants to buy the Gazi Strip

It was stated that on January 11, US President-elect Donald Trump's special representative for the Middle East, Steve Vitkoff, arrived in Israel to seek a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of all hostages held by Hamas.

Earlier, Censor.NET reported that Trump wants to take the Gaza Strip under US control and does not rule out the possibility of sending US troops there.

Also earlier, Donald Trump said that Israel should hand over the Gaza Strip to the United States, and the Palestinians would be resettled in "safer and more beautiful" places.
