103 out of 176 "Shaheds" destroyed, another 67 drones lost in area - Air Force
On the night of 18 February 2025, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 176 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of imitation drones.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the Air Force Command.
As noted, the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
How many drones did we manage to destroy?
According to the Air Force, as of 09.00, 103 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones were confirmed downed in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.
67 enemy imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences).
Consequences of an enemy attack
Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Cherkasy regions suffered as a result of the enemy attack.
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that at night a drone hit a high-rise building in Dolynska, Kirovohrad region, injuring a woman and two children.
