Trump called Zelenskyy immediately after conversation with Putin - Rubio

Donald Trump’s conversations with Putin and Zelenskyy

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that President Trump called Volodymyr Zelenskyy immediately after his conversation with dictator Vladimir Putin.

He said this in an interview with Fox News, Censor.NET reports.

He said that Trump was "irritated by the words" that the US had not talked to Ukraine for some reason.

"After Trump talked to Putin, and he hadn't talked to him for years, he picked up the phone - I was there during both calls - he immediately called Zelenskyy, right away. And then Zelenskyy met with our Minister of Finance, then he met with me and the Vice President, and then he met with Kellogg," the US Secretary of State said.

Rubio believes it is incorrect to say that Ukraine is not involved in talks with the US. Over the past 6 days, he has spoken twice with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
