Without US help, Ukraine can hold out against Russia for at least another six months - FT

Without the US, Ukraine will be able to fight for at least 6 months

Ukraine has enough resources to continue the fight against Russia without US assistance. Kyiv will be able to fight for at least six more months.

According to Censor.NET, the Financial Times reports this, citing sources in Kyiv.

It is noted that military operations are increasingly becoming a war of robots and drones, and Ukraine has become a world leader in the development of the latter. The FT also quotes politician Mustafa Nayyem, who claims that the loss of American equipment will be a "significant but not critical" event.

Drone components from the US, he adds, are used "sparingly" and can be replaced. His biggest concern is if the U.S. stops providing intelligence, although he does not think this is likely.

But even with increased European support, without U.S. assistance, the fight will be difficult to sustain. One unnamed senior lawmaker from the Servant of the People party suggested that this would mean the gradual loss of more and more territory.

As a reminder, the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is considering suspending all current military aid to Ukraine following a dispute between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. leader Donald Trump. It has also been reported that the White House may cut off further indirect support for Ukraine, including other types of military funding, intelligence sharing, and military training.

White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt also said that the United States would no longer provide military assistance to Ukraine. The priority is peace talks, not the continuation of the war.
