European Parliament will propose plan to deprive Hungary of voting rights - Politico

MEPs may try to deprive Hungary of its voting rights after repeatedly blocking joint decisions.
Politico writes about this, Censor.NET reports citing "Hromadske".
Thus, MEPs from the pro-European Volt party will send a plan to EU leaders, which, among other things, will call for Hungary's voting rights to be deprived after it has repeatedly blocked joint decisions.
According to the publication, the plan consists of nine points. In addition to calling for Hungary's voting rights to be revoked, it proposes to appoint EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas as a full-fledged EU foreign minister.
The authors of the text also want to create a common European army and ensure that EU treaties can be revised to include new defence competences and prepare for enlargement.
Earlier it was reported that Hungary opposed the inclusion of Ukraine in the final statement of the EU summit.
Earlier, Szijjártó said that Hungary supports Trump's peace initiatives, calling the US-Russia deal ‘the only viable path to peace’. He also criticised European leaders who, in his opinion, are trying to block these efforts.
