Air defense forces shot down 73 UAVs out of 119, another 37 were lost in location - Air Force

On the night of March 9, 2025, the enemy attacked with 119 Shahed strike UAVs and simulator drones of various types from six directions.

As Censor.NET informs, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.

"As of 09:00, the shooting down of 73 Shahed strike UAVs and drones of other types in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Mykolaiv regions has been confirmed," the message says.

The Donetsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions were affected by the enemy attack.
