More than 86% of Poles oppose sending Polish troops to Ukraine

Most Poles do not want their country's troops to be sent to Ukraine.

This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by United Surveys for the Wirtualna Polska publication, reportsEP, Censor.NET informs.

86.5% of Poles answered "no" to the question of whether Poland should send soldiers to Ukraine. Of these, 58.5% of respondents are categorically against such a decision, and 28% are "rather against" than "for" it.

8.4% of respondents answered the question in the affirmative. The answer "definitely yes" was given by 0.8% of respondents, and "rather yes" by 7.6%. Another 5.1% of respondents were undecided.

"Among the voters of the ruling coalition (Civic Coalition, Left, Third Way), a negative position prevails - 80% of respondents are against sending Polish soldiers to Ukraine. In the group of voters of the ruling coalition, 14% of respondents share the opposite opinion, and 6% of respondents in this group answered "I don't know/difficult to say," the authors of the study note.

Among supporters of the opposition parties (Law and Justice and Confederation), 95% oppose sending Polish troops to Ukraine. 60% of this group answered "definitely not", 30% - "rather not". And only 3% of respondents in this group are not against sending Polish troops to Ukraine.

The survey, which was conducted from February 21 to 24, 2025, involved 1,000 Polish citizens.
