Ukraine’s drone attack halts oil supplies from Russia to Hungary via Druzhba pipeline, - Szijjarto

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó says that oil supplies through the Druzhba pipeline from Russia to Hungary have been halted due to a nighttime attack by Ukrainian drones on a metering station. He demanded that Russia's energy infrastructure not be attacked.
He said this on his Facebook page, as quoted by Telex, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, Budapest received information about the attack from the Russian Ministry of Energy.
"In fact, due to the nighttime drone attack, we had to temporarily suspend oil transportation through the Druzhba pipeline in the direction of Hungary," Szijjarto said.
He noted that repair work is currently underway to restore the pipeline's operation in the near future.
Szijjarto called attacks on the energy infrastructure that supplies Hungary "unacceptable".
"The European Commission has given a guarantee that there will be no attacks on Hungary's energy infrastructure. Unfortunately, this is the second time that the European Commission's guarantee has been violated. We urge Ukrainians not to attack Hungary's energy infrastructure. Hungary is not responsible for the war between Russia and Ukraine. We have stayed out of this war so far and we want to stay out of it in the future. Hungary's energy supply is a matter of sovereignty, and we expect everyone to respect that," the Hungarian minister added.
UAV attack on Russia
On the night of March 11, unidentified drones attacked a number of regions of the Russian Federation. The Russian Defense Ministry announced the downing of 337 UAVs.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that on the night of March 11, the Defense Forces struck the occupiers' facilities in two regions of Russia.
In particular, explosions were recorded in the area of the Stalniy Kony line-production dispatch station in the Orel region, which provides control over the technological processes of the Druzhba oil pipeline and is an important part of the oil supply process to the terminal of the Ust-Luga seaport in the Leningrad region.
