US pressure will eventually force Russia to agree to ceasefire – Zelenskyy

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced that international pressure, primarily from the United States, will eventually force Russia to agree to a ceasefire.
He said this during a meeting with business representatives of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the head of state.
"Ukraine has demonstrated - and everyone emphasizes this - its readiness for a complete and unconditional ceasefire. We do not set any conditions, and the Russians do not have the right to set any conditions," Zelenskyy said.
He also assured that Kyiv would not agree to the lifting of sanctions against Russia in exchange for a temporary 30-day truce, a position supported by European partners.
The President noted that Russia is trying to achieve territorial success, particularly in Sumy, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia, but its offensive attempts are failing.
"I think that the increased pressure and dialogue between the Americans and them will eventually lead to a ceasefire," Zelenskyy concluded.
