Four metro stations in Kyiv have been closed to the public after a person fell under a train.

In Kyiv, as in many cities across Ukraine, emergency power cuts have been implemented. The metro has been suspended due to low voltage in the network.

This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko on his Telegram channel, according to Censor.NET.

The metro is only operating as a shelter

"Underground metro stations can currently operate as shelters (on backup power supply)," he clarified.

What does DTEK say?

"Kyiv and Kyiv region: emergency power cuts have been implemented on the orders of Ukrenergo. We remind you that during emergency power cuts, schedules do not apply," DTEK informs.

Emergency power cutshave alsobeen implemented in the Odesa region.
