On the night of July 4, as part of efforts to reduce the military and economic capabilities of the Russian aggressor, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the "St. Petersburg" oil terminal in the Leningrad Oblast of the Russian Federation.

Its designed throughput capacity is 12.5 million metric tons of petroleum products per year, and its tank farm has a total capacity of approximately 441,000 cubic meters.
