Defence forces have disabled over 51 per cent of Russia’s oil refining capacity, – Khmara

Ukraine’s security and defence forces have put more than 51 per cent of Russia’s oil refining capacity out of action.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defence, citing its head, Yevhen Khmara, according to Censor.NET.
Assessment of damage
"Intelligence and analysts from the General Staff and the Ministry of Defence have assessed the consequences of the recent long-range strikes by the Security and Defence Forces. More than half of the enemy’s capacity has been put out of action. This is the result of carefully planned, systematic and coordinated actions aimed at crippling the Russian war machine and destroying its military-economic potential," said the head of the defence ministry.
He recalled that the Defence Forces had recently struck the Moscow, Yaroslavl, Perm, Ilsk, Saratov and Syzran oil refineries, as well as Kirishinefteorgsintez and the oil refinery in Ust-Luga.
Khmara noted that the consequences of Ukrainian operations are not always immediately apparent, but the effect accumulates and yields tangible results.
"51 per cent of oil refining capacity has been hit – this is a significant blow to the enemy’s economy, to its ability to carry out aggression and to supply its troop formations. Our deep strikes continue to take the war onto Russian territory," said the Defence Minister.
Ministry of Defence priorities
It is noted that one of the Ministry of Defence’s priorities is long-range strike drones, which enable targets deep within Russia to be struck.
"This year, we have tripled production and procurement. This is not the limit. We will continue to scale up our deep strike capabilities," the ministry added.
