On the evening of October 8, 2026, the Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia with missiles. The weapons hit civilian infrastructure. The enemy also carried out FPV drone strikes.
The Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this, Censor.NET reports.
Missile attack
According to the report, the attack damaged apartment buildings, private houses, outbuildings and vehicles.
As of 6:25 p.m., six people were known to have been injured in the enemy attack, including a nine-year-old boy.
Head of the Regional Military Administration Mykhailo Semikin said that an underage girl was also among those injured.

Strike on the regional council building
A Russian FPV drone hit the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council building — directly on the coat of arms. Smoke appeared after the impact, but there was no fire. No one was injured.
Enemy attacked civilians
A car traveling along a road was also reportedly hit. The vehicle caught fire. Unfortunately, the driver was killed.
