Russian oil refineries in Omsk and Ukhta, as well as enemy data centre, have been struck, - Zelenskyy. VIDEO
The defence forces have carried out precision strikes on two Russian oil refineries – in Omsk and Ukhta.
This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his Telegram channel, according to Censor.NET.
What has been hit?
"Another strike on a Russian oil refinery in Omsk – one of the major facilities – as well as the Ukhta refinery, 1,900 kilometres from Ukraine’s state border. The target in Ukhta was struck by An-196 RS drones, which have a range of around 2,500 kilometres, whilst FP-6s (modified FP-1s) were used against the Omsk oil refinery the day before. We are continuing to respond to Russia’s strikes on Ukraine, and we are doing so with precision. Another data centre has also been struck – this is our tit-for-tat response. The precision of our soldiers is crucial. Glory to Ukraine!", the head of state remarked.
What led up to this?
- It was previously reported that the Defence Forces had struck the Omsk oil refinery in Russia – more than 2,500 km from Ukraine.
- Drones also attacked a Lukoil refinery 1,700 km from Ukraine: black smoke rose above the Russian town of Ukhta.
