Russia moved infantry, heavy equipment and ammunition into Oleshky during "ceasefire": Kherson under threat, says "Borysfen" Brigade

As expected, Russian forces moved personnel and equipment into occupied Oleshky during the ceasefire.
Yevhen Voronetskyi, head of the Borysfen Brigade’s communications department, told journalist Iryna Romaliiska this during a Butusov Plus broadcast, Censor.NET reports.
"Unfortunately, that is the case. We expected nothing else. It would have been very strange if they had not taken advantage of such an opportunity. Of course, they brought in everything they could, from cigarettes and Mivina instant noodles to heavy equipment," he said.
Threat of a Russian offensive in the south
He also noted that attempts by the enemy to advance in the south could be expected.
According to Voronetskyi, the Defence Forces have now partially lost an air corridor that they could use, among other things, to deliver aid to local residents.
"The convoy was escorted by soldiers. Fewer of those soldiers left than came in. Most stayed behind. We saw soldiers carrying boxes of humanitarian aid around Oleshky afterwards. We are not giving up the air corridor entirely, but things will become a little more difficult now, and we will have to get through that first line again, which they will be rebuilding," he added.
The military official also emphasised that the occupiers had brought large quantities of fuel, ammunition and artillery components into the town.
Threat of increased shelling of Kherson
"Because we have done a good job in 2026 and destroyed a large number of artillery guns. The effect was felt in Kherson, as it had almost stopped coming under fire from tube artillery. Yes, it still comes under fire, but less than in the winter of 2026... Now there will be a major threat to Kherson itself," he added.
