16-year-old boy sets fire to military vehicles in Kyiv on Russian order - SSU. VIDEO+PHOTOS
A 16-year-old Russian FSS agent who set fire to a vehicle of the Ukrainian Defence Forces is detained in Kyiv.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the SSU press service.
The young man came to the attention of the occupiers when he was looking for quick money on Telegram channels. A representative of the Russian special service responded to him there and offered cooperation in exchange for money.
The Russians recruited the minor and gave him a test task: to post anti-Ukrainian leaflets around the city. After completing this "simple" task, the curator promised the minor "big money" in exchange for setting fire to military vehicles.
A prerequisite for the arson attacks was the filming of the process.
"The FSS needed the footage to prepare information and psychological special operations: that arsons in Ukraine are not carried out for FSS money, but that there is a pro-Russian 'underground' in our country, which is trying to disrupt mobilisation and help Russia.
When setting the task for the minor, the Russian supervisor said that it was not necessary to set fire to a military vehicle, but to any vehicle that looked like a military vehicle. After establishing the locations of the two potential targets, the young man first took pictures of them for "approval" by the FSS, and then set them on fire with a flammable mixture," the statement said.
The arson attack was another "test" task, the Russian special services were testing his readiness to commit regular arson attacks in Kyiv.
Subsequently, the SSU and the National Police prevented the implementation of the enemy's plans and timely exposed the Russian agent, detaining him in hot pursuit.
It has been established that the Russian special service promised to transfer money to the crypto wallet for performing "verification" tasks, but he never received the promised amount.
The young man was served a notice of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code:
- P. 2, Art. 258 (terrorist act committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons that caused significant property damage);
- P. 1, Art. 114-1 (obstruction of the lawful activities of the AFU and other military formations during a special period).
He faces up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The SSU also identified his Russian curator. He was served a notice of suspicion in absentia under Part 1 Article 304 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (involvement of a minor in illegal activities).
