In Kharkiv, FSS agent who adjusted Russian strikes on city is detained - SSU. PHOTOS
SSU Military Counterintelligence detained another FSS agent in Kharkiv. The traitor reconnoitered the locations of the Defence Forces and tried to help the occupiers prepare a new series of strikes in the region.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the SSU press centre.
As noted, the adjuster was a 37-year-old local resident. He was recruited by the FSS in Russia, where his wife lived and where the defendant fled at the beginning of the full-scale war.
On the instructions of FSS officer Yevhen Mykolaiovych Konyakhin, the agent returned to Kharkiv in May 2023 via third countries and subsequently began to carry out enemy missions.
Tasks of an agent in Kharkiv
The main targets of the ruscists were military training grounds where Ukrainian defenders were trained.
The defendant carried out reconnaissance raids under the guise of business trips, during which he secretly recorded the locations of defence facilities.
He also tried to use his acquaintances, including the military and volunteers, secretly.
"Under the guise" of friendly conversation, the traitor tried to find out where Ukrainian troops were based, their approximate number and available weapons.
Suspicion of an intruder
SSU military counterintelligence officers exposed the agent in advance, documented his criminal actions and detained him during a special operation.
The SSU investigators served the agent a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
The offender is in custody. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
